Artistic activity in Sun Valley includes exhibits, stage performances, concerts, workshops and festivals. The Wood River Arts Alliance and the Sun Valley Center for the Arts & Humanities are behind many of these. Sun Valley and Elkhorn Resorts organize many of the large events

Sun Valley’s Famous Ice Show & Buffet (June to mid-September). On the Sun Valley Lodge Terrace, as part of the the Lodge's dining and entertainment area, is a world-class ice-skating rink, made famous in the movie "Sun Valley Serenade". Here top figure skaters, including Olympic medalists, perform to sell-out crowds on Saturday evenings in summer. Enjoy the show from your table while a live orchestra sets the atmosphere.

Imagine yourself enjoying the exciting performances of Olympic Medalists in the intimate and beautiful Sun Valley Ice Rink. 

Summer Dance at Elkhorn. Brings renowned dance stars to the mountains.

SUN VALLEY WORLD CLASS SYMPHONY (July / August) offers top of the line musical performance you can enjoy with in-door seating, or picnicking in the beautiful grass field, ringed by trees, surrounding the Performance Tent. Sun Valley Music Festival (July / August). Featuring classical music and jazz. The festival is organized by the Sun Valley Center for the Arts and Humanities.
Swing 'n Dixie Jazz Jamboree (mid-October).
